Building a strong foundation for learning
The Creative Curriculum for Infants Toddlers and Preschool empowers children to be confident, creative, and caring learners through play-based, hands-on investigations. The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based approach to early childhood education that emphasizes hands-on, project-based investigations to foster children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. It focuses on the whole child, addressing social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development through play-based learning and exploration. The curriculum is designed to be adaptable, aligning with state learning guidelines.
Before & After School
Our before and after school program is offered every morning and afternoon allowing children to enjoy creative learning experiences and time to unwind in a safe supervised setting. Select schools in the area provide the transportation to our facility. Students are provided a nutritious breakfast in the morning and snack in the afternoon.
Summer Camp
Our summer program offers a fun educational experience all summer long! Field trips, swimming, enrichment classes and recreational activities are part of the non stop fun. Flexible scheduling options allow parents to enroll their child for just two weeks or for the entire summer.
Vacation Club
When elementary schools are closed for holidays or teacher conferences, our programs provide a safe supervised environment for children to enjoy games, crafts, computers, and other creative learning activities.
Calamity Days
Winter weather and emergency school closings create a real problem for working parents. Toddler Tech will always be available when needed the most!
Infant Program
At Toddler Tech we foster healthy and happy infants in a warm and nurturing environment. The staff plans age appropriate and stimulating infant activities. Staff interacts with infants by smiling, hugging, singing, reading and talking. We believe that every interaction with infants should be a message that their needs are being met in the most loving, gentle manner. Safety is another top priority. The infant space has been carefully designed to create a clean and secure environment featuring a separate play, eating and sleeping area.
We believe that parents are the most significant and most important adult in your baby’s life. Our goal is to work together as a team for the benefit of the child. Daily written and verbal communication keeps you informed about every part of your baby’s day. It is our experience that this high level of communication furnishes peace of mind and a mutual respect between our parents and caregivers.
The center uses the Creative Curriculum which was written in alignment with Ohio’s Common Core Standards Birth to Age Five. Our curriculum consists of developmentally appropriate infant activities designed to help your baby reach key milestones.
Our infant program features a small group size allowing staff to provide individual attention. Activities include music, movement, indoor and outdoor play, sensory experiences, and plenty of language-rich snuggles with their loving caregivers. We follow routines that families have established at home, allowing each child to receive care tailored to their unique needs. Our staff members are dedicated to providing responsive care, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. We treat each child with warmth, fostering an environment where they can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Toddler Program
We understand that toddlers are growing rapidly and need a safe environment that supports their development and natural curiosity. Toddlers begin to participate in structured activities that are designed to encourage the development of their fine and gross motor skills, communication skills, and early literacy skills – all through hands-on activities and play! Our toddler program is structured to provide consistency, but schedules are purposefully designed to be flexible. Teachers plan activities and routines to respond to children’s needs and interests. We use the Creative Curriculum which was written with the Ohio’s infant and Toddler Guidelines.
Each day, a daily report is sent home, summarizing your child’s day at Toddler Tech. In addition, our staff maintains an assessment portfolio for each child, which tracks developmental progress using photographs, checklists and work samples. Children’s portfolios are stored in the classroom and are always available for parents to review.
Our Toddler program supports early learning and development in a way that fosters independence and exploration! Our curriculum goes beyond structured activities to include important elements like interactions, relationships, caregiving routines, and transitions. In addition, a variety of learning centers—offer age opportunities for children to explore different areas of development.

Preschool Program
Our preschool program uses the Creative Curriculum for Preschool which was written in alignment with the Ohio Early Learning and Content Standards.
Preschoolers enjoy child-centered activities in math, science, pre-reading, pre-writing, art and computers. Every day starts off with Circle Time, which includes song, music, show and tell, poems and group discussions. This morning meeting is the perfect time to introduce and explore thematic contents. Staff uses “the intentional teaching approach” by making observations and notes throughout the day about your child’s interest, and developmental stages. This information is used to plan developmentally appropriate curriculum for each child.
The staff maintains an assessment portfolio for each child, which tracks developmental progress using photographs checklists and work sample, screenings and assessments. Children’s assessment portfolios are stored in the classroom and are always available for parents to review.
Our preschool program builds the foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing curiosity, initiative, social skills, communication, independent thinking and creativity. By providing both teacher-directed and play-based activities this approach offers a balance of structure and flexibility, allowing for both intentional teaching moments and opportunities for children to explore and learn at their own pace. Our classroom environment encourages preschoolers to be independent, allowing them to make choices regarding the learning areas in which they would like to explore and play.
